My All Time Fav Christmas Movies!

Merry Christmas Eve Eve! I can’t believe Christmas is only two days away! I swear every year time flies by more and more quickly; I’ve really noticed how fast time flies since having Nate too. I’m so looking forward to starting family traditions with Kurt and Nate. One of my most favourite things to do each year is watch Christmas movies. I try to watch one or two a week or at least parts of them. Here’s a list of my all time favourite movies. Some of these I’ve watched for years and year and others are relatively new to me. I’m sure most of them you probably watch as well, but I bet you’ll look at this list and think how are the Home Alone movies not on here!? No, it’s not a mistake. I hate them. Ok, ok. Hate is a strong word but honestly, I do not like them. I never have. Even going back to when I was a kid. I never liked them. Honestly, they gave me the worst anxiety thinking that it’d be so easy for a parent to completely forget their kid at home. Haha. Sorry but I just can’t add them onto my list.

So without further adieu,

.) The Nightmare Before Christmas (It’s completely normal to watch it at both Halloween AND Christmas!)

.) Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

.) Miracle on 34th Street (I grew up watching the 1994 remake)

.) The Polar Express

.) The Muppet Christmas Carol

.) Frosty the Snowman

.) Arthur Christmas

.) Four Christmases

.) A Christmas Carol (the animated Jim Carrey movie)

.) The Santa Clause 1&2

.) Fred Claus (it’s so-so but I like it)

.)  How the Grinch Stole Christmas

.) The Grinch (my step-brother does the greatest Grinch impression ever)

.) Santa Claus is Coming to Town

.) Mickey’s Christmas Carol

.) A Charlie Brown Christmas

.) Annabelle’s Wish (my sister and I watched this all the time as kids)

.) Care Bears Nutcracker (because it’s AMAZING!)

.) Olive the Other Reindeer (it’s adorable and needs to be played more often! haha)

.) Jack Frost (and I cry every damn time!)

.) Shrek the Halls

.) Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer

.) A Teddy Bear’s Christmas (again, my sister and I watched this ALL the time!)

.) Christopher the Christmas Tree

.) I’ll Be Home For Christmas (because every grown up girl still has a crush on a teenage JTT!)

Well, there you have it! My favourite Christmas movies to watch every year! And yes, I’m also aware that A Christmas Story isn’t on my list! 😉 too bad, so sad!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
