Mom Life

Eli At Two Months Old

Still loves to snuggle

Has accepted being swaddled when he’s having a melt down

Likes to ‘chug’ when he’s breastfeeding which leads to the cutest little noises

Snores extremely loud just like his daddy and big brother

No longer wakes up routinely at 11 pm to party

Instead he usually falls asleep between 9 and 10 pm then wakes up at 3:30, 5:30, and 6:30 am to feed

Has learned to accept being placed in his swing

No longer screams and cries during bath time

Focuses completely when someone is speaking directly to him

Will turn his head as far as he can when he hears mine or Nate’s voices but can’t tell where in the room we are

Started fully smiling about a week and a half ago

HATES when I bite his nails when they start getting long and sharp because I’m too afraid to cut them with the clippers

Has the biggest and brightest eyes

Typically enjoys car rides and usually doesn’t cry unless he’s super hungry

Is usually awake on and off several times throughout the morning for a few hours at a time but loves to sleep the entire afternoon away

Has incredible neck strength just like his big bro did at the same age

Much to my dismay he loves his pacifier

Has turned into a spitting image of my younger sister as a baby

Basically has every member of our family wrapped around his little fingers

    1. I’m not sure what it is about my boys but they both had amazing neck control by two months old. If we held my oldest boy’s hands above his head with his feet on the floor he would essentially “walk” with us at three months old. I definitely gave birth to strong infants! Haha but yes! You’re totally right, all babies grow and develop at different rates and not one baby is the same as another! 🙂 thanks for stopping by!!
